Milan was incredible. The train station is a sight in itself! It’s huge and it has lovely architecture. Vast spacious halls and entrance. we had booked an Airbnb, which was very very close. It was three blocks from the entrance of the train station. Our Airbnb host welcomed us and showed us around the spacious apartment. It had large windows that looked out over courtyards as the Airbnb was inside this apartment complex with these courtyards that were quiet and made us feel seperated from the Milan streets outside of our little getaway within the city. After dropping off our things, we walked to the train station and picked up the metro, which took us a few stops to the beautiful Cathedral. The metro station opens right up into the square where you have an amazing view of the Milan cathedral as you walk up the steps.
